Sandhurst Hand Therapy

Sandhurst Hand Therapy provides a comprehensive hand therapy service for both acute and chronic hand and forearm injuries.  Common injuries treated include hand fractures,  ligament, and tendon injuries, along with sporting injuries.  Chronic conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Dupuytren’s disease, tendonopathies (including Dequervains tendonopathy)  are also seen frequently. Treatment modalities include splint and support fabrication, scar management, mobilisation, and strengthening exercises.  InterX is also used for treatment of a wide range of pathologies.  Working closely with our onsite surgeons allows us to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, ultimately facilitating a quicker more complete return to work, sport, or other functional activities.
